Loop, Parsons' sixth alumni exhibition, is an immersive, interactive experience highlighting cross-disciplinary, collaborative work across media. On view in the Arnold and Sheila Aronson Galleries and Parsons' new Making Center at 66 Fifth Avenue from October 15-31, the show features work by more than 120 alumni from every program at the school. The work, displayed in a series of projected loops and in physical form, was selected by Parsons deans and program directors who were given exclusive access to the creative output of Parsons’ visionary graduates. Almudena Alcaide presents "Infinite looks"
Infinite looks dress is a simple design system that by passing ribbons through grommets can become many different garments. You can create your own shapes that adapt to your needs and body structure. Choosing your own style and aesthetic from scratch.
You can develop your creative side and have the most unique dress ever: one made in a few minutes with your own hands and ideas. Maybe one day you feel classy and want to create a simple dress and maybe the next day you feel funky and want to create an asymmetric blouse. The power of transforming is in your hands.
Feel, think, be creative!
